Getting to Amapola House:
From San Juan, take Route 22 West (Toll Turnpike) and continue on Route 2 West when the Turnpike ends and continue on Route 2 as it turns South (4 Lane Highway) at Aguadilla. We recommend by-passing the town of Aguada and making a right turn at Route 402 and a right turn at Route 115 directly into Rincon; it only takes a few more minutes and avoids all the Aguada turns, traffic, stop lights and is more scenic. Once you enter Rincon and pass the Town Square, make a left turn behind the Church and another left turn at Playero Surf Shop towards Route 413. Continue towards and pass the Lighthouse road up the hill to Puntas Bakery. At the top of the hill,
make a left turn behind the Bakery down to the beach and make a right turn at the first road, Vista Linda. Make a quick right turn, then a quick left turn and continue up the hill to Amapola House on the right.
From Aguadilla, take
Route 2 South
(4 Lane Highway)
at Aguadilla.
